PROJECT_INDEX | ||
This project, a residential conversion of servant’s quarters and laundry
facilities on the rooftop of a pre-war housing block on Manhattan’s Upper West
Side, created the opportunity to develop a dialogue between two water basins:
One, an early 20th century public artifact, a water tower, and integral part of
the roof top fabric of the city, and the other, a new intervention, a computer
generated geometric form, providing enclosure for the private ritual of
bathing. Completed at John Nastasi Architects. |
